Eleven information creators gain PIF TICK

Newly certified Trusted Information Creators in December 2024 and January 2025

Eleven health information creators have gained their PIF TICK certification. The new Trusted Information Creators were certified in December 2024 and January 2025. Find out more about them below.

Asthma + Lung UK provides help and guidance for anyone living with a lung condition. This includes a helpline, information and support groups.

Dr Aziza Sesay is a GP, vice chair of Black Female Doctors UK and serves as an ambassador for multiple health charities. She runs “Talks with Dr. Sesay” – a platform sharing evidence-based health information, with a focus on women’s health, cancer awareness, mental health and health inequity.

BEAMS is a project exploring how to make information resources more accessible to women experiencing challenges accessing healthcare. It has produced resources on postnatal health.

Cerebra helps children with brain conditions and their families. Its support includes advice on legal, financial and social affairs and support with physical and mental health issues.

Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland works to help people with chest, heart and stroke conditions live life to the full. It provides information and support through its Community Healthcare Support Service.

Elite Sports Professional Services is a sports injury clinic. It produces information on procedures and its services.

ENT UK is the professional membership body representing ear, nose and throat surgery. It also provides patient information e-leaflets about conditions and procedures.

Future Dreams offers a wide range of in-person and online services. It provides practical, emotional and psychological support for those diagnosed with breast cancer and promotes breast health awareness.

Mast Cell Action is a UK-based charity supporting people affected by Mast Cell Disease. It has resources for people affected by MCAS and those caring for people with MCAS.

Meningitis Now is the first meningitis patient group in the world and the only charity dedicated to fighting meningitis in the UK. It provides a range of support, including a nurse-led helpline.

NCT (National Childbirth Trust) offers information and support in pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood.
