Four new Trusted Information Creators gained the PIF TICK in March 2024.
Bedgebury Communications, Lupus UK, Mikaere Foundation and Radiotherapy UK are the latest organisations to receive accreditation.
Radiotherapy UK provides information about radiotherapy to patients and families. It also offers information and guidance for radiotherapy professionals.
Director Sarah Quinlan said: “Gaining the PIF TICK is a huge achievement for our small charity. It underlines the focus we have on ensuring a strong patient-centred process for developing our health information resources.”
Bedgebury Communications is a UK-based advertising and medical communications agency.
Lupus UK is the national charity for people living with Lupus. It provides information to raise awareness of the condition and support those living with lupus.
The Mikaere Foundation supports children living with Nonketotic Hyperglycinemia (NKH), a rare and terminal neurometabolic disorder. It provide clear information about NKH via a patient information website.
