
Three new individuals gain PIF TICK in August
Individuals gain PIF TICK and six organisations celebrate recertification.
Three new individuals gained their PIF TICK in August 2024. Dr Nighat Arif, Dr Sylvia Kama-Kieghe and Gaynor Leech are all now Trusted Information Creators. That means their information is up-to-date, evidence based and easy to use and understand.
Dr Nighat Arif is a GP specialising in women’s health, working with the BBC and ITV. She is also a content creator with YouTube Health and the WHO Fides network. Dr Nighat is author of The Knowledge, a best-selling book on woman’s health.
Dr Sylvia Kama-Kieghe runs AskAwayHealth. The website provides simple health information for people from underserved communities. The goal is to provide effective and relatable information to help people reach their health goals.
Gaynor Leech is a patient advocate and founder of L-W-O Community. She promotes emotional wellness, lymphatic health and self-care for those living with lymphoedema.
