MEDiSTRAVA and Self Care Forum gain PIF TICK
Two new certifications and six recertifications in September 2024.
MEDiSTRAVA and Self Care Forum gained their PIF TICK certification in September 2024. They are the latest organisations to become Trusted Information Creators under the independent quality scheme.
MEDiSTRAVA works with the biotech and pharma industry to accelerate the approval, access, and adoption of medicines. It supports the creation of effective patient education and support resources.
The Self Care Forum is a national charity aiming to embed self care into everyday life. It publishes factsheets to help healthcare professionals and service users discuss issues around self care. The factsheets cover common conditions like back pain, cough and heartburn.
Self Care Forum chair Helen Donovan said: “We are proud to show off our prestigious PIF TICK. The UK’s only assessed quality mark for online health and care information. It means you can be assured our health information is evidence-based, understandable, jargon-free, up-to date and produced to the best possible standards.”
