This month’s new Trusted Information Creators
Three new members have gained the PIF TICK in December 2021. Anaphylaxis Campaign, CoppaFeel! and Together for Short Lives are now Trusted Information Creators.
Gaining the PIF TICK shows their health information is:
- Up-to-date
- Evidence-based
- Trusted
Anaphylaxis Campaign
The Anaphylaxis Campaign supports those at risk of severe allergies.
It has provided information to patients and their families for more than 25 years.
CEO Simon Williams said: “As a charity offering support to the anaphylaxis community, it’s vital people know they can trust the information we provide.
“Gaining the PIF TICK verifies that we have a strong process for developing the evidence-based information we publish.
“It’s testimony to the excellent standards and quality of our team, who make sure the people we support can access relevant and up-to-date information on all aspects of anaphylaxis as and when they need it.”
CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! aims to give everyone the best chance of surviving breast cancer.
It educates young people about their boobs and pecs.
“At Boob HQ we have always wanted to deliver a life-saving message in a light-hearted way,” said CoppaFeel!.
“But we also know that it can be increasingly difficult to navigate cancer information, particularly online.
“That’s why we have been working with PIF to become a ‘trusted information creator’.”
Together for Short Lives
Together for Short Lives helps children living with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition and their families.
Its helpline gives help and support.
It provides easy-to-use information so families can spend less time searching for help and have more time together.
